About Tracey
Tracey started her career over two decades ago as a professional hair and makeup artist. She has had advanced training with Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell and was trained at the Academy of Makeup. Her rich educational background has provided Tracey Taylor the foundation and experience necessary to place her at the top of her craft.
Tracey travels the globe to lend her steady hand and creativity to celebrities, photo shoots, and private events of nearly every kind. Her work has appeared in such publications as Vogue, Glamour, Allure, InStyle, Playboy, US Weekly, French Cosmopolitan, Elle and People. Tracey has also been a guest commentator on Oscars fashion and beauty for Sky Movies UK.
Tracey is a preferred artist for a roster of A-list clientele. She has worked with Brooke Burke, Eva Longoria, Sharon Glass, Nina Agdal, Dr. Dre, Heavy D, Miranda Richardson, Eva LaRue, Salma Hayek, Angie Harmon, Kate Del Castillo, Gloria Trevi and many others. She has worked with various television shows like Dracula Unearthed, Stargate, Revolution, Burn Notice, and the Ellen DeGeneres Show on their press junket and gallery shoots. Tracey has also worked on numerous fashion films.
Tracey is not just in demand solely for her makeup artistry. She is also a talented hair stylist. Providing both hair styling and makeup for Banana Moon Monaco Swimsuits and celebrity hair colorist Marco Pelusi’s campaigns.
While she excels at creating looks of flawless natural beauty, Tracey’s abilities extend from dramatic and editorial visions to tattoos, expert airbrush techniques, and injury simulation. She specializes in a masterful understanding of color and beauty for all skin tones and hair types. These skills are emphasized by her relationship with TEMPTU. Tracey is a TEMPTU pro artist. She shares her expertise as a master class instructor for the company. She recently worked as part of the four-member TEMPTU makeup team for the BCBGMAXAZRIA’s Resort 2014 Special Preview.
In addition to her professional life, Tracey is a passionate animal lover. Her current animal passion projects include Animal Rescue Corps and The Paw Project. She also volunteers for Foster Care Counts, AttaGirl Inc. and The United Children’s Fund. She also loves to garden and cook. In her free time she enjoys designing burlesque and cabaret costumes. Tracey gets her ideas for her costume designs from her collection of vintage clothing as well being inspired by vintage films. She likes to surround herself with good music, fine art and close friends.
